How does pricing work?
Caliper is free to download and explore with the full markup and measurement toolset. A single one-time $149.99 purchase unlocks saving and printing your work — no subscription, no account, ever.
I purchased Caliper on another Mac. How do I restore it?
Open Caliper, then choose Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with, the Mac App Store will restore your unlock automatically.
Where are my markups stored?
Your markups save directly into the PDF itself — there are no extra files alongside it. Caliper keeps them as re-editable annotations, so every time you reopen the PDF you can adjust, move, or delete what you drew. Everything stays on your Mac.
Do my drawings ever leave my computer?
No. Caliper does all processing locally — including Auto-Scale OCR. There's no telemetry, no account, and no cloud. See our Privacy Policy.
